Pennsylvania Academy of Science Annual Meeting is held each spring. It is an exciting event for all involved as college students and faculty present research.
For faculty, the meeting offers an opportunity to converse and collaborate with colleagues from neighboring institutions. In addition, it allows them to expose their students to a critical, yet often overlooked, aspect of scientific research…educating others!
For students, the Annual Meeting is a formative experience. For some students, this is their first opportunity to engage a public scientific audience in conversation about their research. And, for most, this will be the experience upon which they will likely build as their scientific careers progress.
